Yolande Jacobson Sheppard poses with Nevada Senator Alan Bible, an unidentified man, Lieutenant Governor Rex Bell, and Nevada Representative Walter Baring around the completed model for the bronze statue of Senator Pat McCarran. Yolande Jacobson Sheppard was a sculpture artist whose work has been exhibited in many art shows, museums, and universities although she was not as well known as her husband, Art Professor and renowned artist, Craig Sheppard. One of her more well-known works was a bronze statue of Nevada Senator Patrick Anthony McCarran (seen here) created for the National Statuary Hall collection in Washington, D.C.
