[Appeared on RGJ page 7 with caption:] AT PEP RALLY which launched Sparks High School 1959 Homecoming Celebration Thursday evening, girls present skit 'How Others See Football Players.' Members of Pep Club performed numerous other skits, and the Girls Athletic Association and Sparklers also participated. Parade this afternoon was to precede Sparks-Ely football game tonight on Dilworth Field and the affair will end with a dance Saturday night. The Nevada State Journal (founded on November 23, 1870) and the Reno Evening Gazette (founded on March 28, 1876) were combined on October 7, 1983 to create the Reno-Gazette Journal (RGJ). The collection contains negatives of photographs taken by Reno Gazette-Journal reporters from 1959-2003 for use in news stories.
