Rose PTA is the means used by these children who will visit each room at the school with a speech to generate interest in the campaign. The drive for new members opens at Mt. Rose school Oct. 1 and continues through Oct. 8. Shown also is a relief map of the United States, donated by Dr. Richard Brown, Mt. The Nevada State Journal (founded on November 23, 1870) and the Reno Evening Gazette (founded on March 28, 1876) were combined on October 7, 1983 to create the Reno-Gazette Journal (RGJ). The collection contains negatives of photographs taken by Reno Gazette-Journal reporters from 1959-2003 for use in news stories.
