[Appeared on RGJ page 24 with caption:] THE SYNCOPATES, headlining at the Nevada Lodge, year-round entertainment headquarters on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, includes Edi Giusti, one of the greatest of the girl accordionists; Beth Baker who plays marimba also doubles on bass, vibe and congo drums. Don Maroncelli, drummer and comic, has made many appearances on the Ed Sullivan show. Sharing the show bill at Nevada Lodge are the Magnetics.

The Nevada State Journal (founded on November 23, 1870) and the Reno Evening Gazette (founded on March 28, 1876) were combined on October 7, 1983 to create the Reno-Gazette Journal (RGJ). The collection contains negatives of photographs taken by Reno Gazette-Journal reporters from 1959-2003 for use in news stories.
