[Appeared on RGJ page 2 with caption:] PRESIDENT DUANE MEDINA of the newly formed Reno Sertoma Club presents Mayor Bud Baker with an honorary Commodore's hat to be worn during the Reno Regatta on Pyramid Lake, October 10 and 11. The regatta will feature a record number of the world's fastest unlimited hydroplanes. The Sertoma Club's proceeds from the sale of buttons, programs, and parking facilities will go to sponsor activities including a youth employment program.

Collection Description
The Nevada State Journal (founded on November 23, 1870) and the Reno Evening Gazette (founded on March 28, 1876) were combined on October 7, 1983 to create the Reno-Gazette Journal (RGJ). The collection contains negatives of photographs taken by Reno Gazette-Journal reporters from 1959-2003 for use in news stories.
