Asier Barandiaran speaking about Sweet Promised Land exhibit

The Jon Bilbao Basque Library organized an exhibit commemorating the 60th anniversary of Robert Laxalt's iconic work, "Sweet Promised Land." The exhibit showcased Laxalt's profound connection to the Basque Country as a literary artifact, highlighting his contribution to both the Basque community in the United States and the Basque Country itself, as well as the establishment of the Basque Library in Reno. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the library's extensive collection, its programs, and its efforts to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of Basque heritage.
