During the Earthquake Engineering Lab construction a sign on Evans Avenue fencing reads "University of Nevada, Reno / Earthquake Lab /Expansion Phase 1", noting Clark and Sullivan Construction, BJG Architecture and Engineering ("Responsive by Design"), Dinter ("Engineering Confidence"), CFA ("Planners-Engineers-Landscape Architects-Surveyors-Construction Observation"), and Odyssey Engineering Incorporated (with illegible address and contact info). The James E. Rogers and Louis Wiener Jr. Large-Scale Structures Lab and Center for Civil Engineering Earthquake Research is one of the largest earthquake labs in the U.S. and has been used in the testing of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
