Item Description
Schulich Lecture Hall and Leifson Physics are viewed from the entrance to Mack Social Science. The Schulich Lecture Hall was finished in 1970 to seat multiple students for lectures and speakers. It is named after university benefactor Seymour Schulich. The Leifson Physics Building was finished in 1972. It was named for Sigmund Leifson, a professor at the university from 1925 to 1963. Leifson was an integral part of the creation of the Desert Research Institute.
