Photograph of a group of men sitting or standing in the lobby of the Overland Hotel. Handwritten on verso: Lobby of old Overland Hotel. Builder was Alec Dromiac [unsure of spelling] & friend of John Sparks. Mr. Dromiac asked Sparks to name the hotel & he did - OVERLAND HOTEL. In picture L to R. Charles Saddler who owned the business (but not bldg.), George Wingfield - mining millionaire (Goldfield & Tonopah), man in middle with watch chain is Bob Perry who ran the stock yards.
