Photograph of Bryan Samudio interviewing Nevada men's basketball Garry Hill-Thomas either before or after Nevada's victory over Michigan State in the 2004 NCAA Tournament. Samudio has been a sports broadcaster in Nevada for over 20 years. Hill-Thomas was a guard for the Wolf Pack for the 2001 through 2004 seasons. Over his four seasons at Nevada, Hill-Thomas averaged 10.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Hill-Thomas played basketball professionally in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, New Zealand, and Australia. Hill-Thomas earned the Doc Martie Award in recognition of being Nevada's top male senior student athlete in 2004. Hill-Thomas was selected to the WAC All-Defensive Team in 2004.
