Energy Mask; Space Whale; Snap Shot

The eastern wall of the Circus Circus Reno contains seven 20 x 14 ft. panels, each painted by a different artist during the 2017 24-Hour Mural Marathon competition. From left to right: Anthony Ortega won the competition with a psychedelic mural composition that combines ancient Mesoamerican art with futuristic elements. This mural is painted with vibrant shades of blue, red, green, orange, yellow, pink, and purple, portraying a vivid ancient Mesoamerican god-like figure that emerges from the stellar depths of the galaxy behind it and begins it descent into the green forest that surrounds the outer edges of the mural; Kendel Leslie painted a colorful mural with a blue humpback whale as the primary subject.
