Unknown [Paint Supplies, Man Barbecueing]

This hardware-themed mural was painted by artist Joe C. Rock on the southern wall of Ace Hardware in Midtown Reno. On the left side of the mural, a can of red paint pours down from the top onto a wooden paint stirrer stick with the Ace logo on it. On the left, a paint brush has been dipped in the red paint and a paint roller above the brush has been rolled in the paint. In the scene on the right side of the mural, a man wearing a white chef's hat and apron is barbecuing or deep frying a turkey in a fenced-in yard surrounded by tall pine trees. Rock has utilized the natural brick facade of the wall to depict the brick patio the man stands on, and the blue sky behind and above him flows into the blue label on the paint can.
