This mural, painted as a tribute to September 11, 2001, contains classic patriotic-American imagery. On the left side of the mural, a bald eagle appears behind the word "September" that is painted in blue block letters with "9/11,""2001," and "2011" painted within them. To the right of this are the silhouettes of what appear to be construction workers raising the American flag. Next, a rendering of the New York City skyline appears. The sun glows bright yellow behind both the flag-raising construction workers and the skyline. Last, the Statue of Liberty's head and her torch are depicted in profile.
