Item Description
This signal box was painted by artist Michael Lucido to look like it has been boarded up and turned into a raccoon fort, as the mural's title suggests. On the right side of the box, a wide-eyed raccoon with its mouth wide open stands outside the fort with a Campbell's Tomato Soup can in its left paw and a paint brush in its right paw. Red tomato soup is on the tip of the brush, as well as on the raccoon's tongue and around its mouth. The words "Rad City" are painted in red on a board above the raccoon's head. The back side of the box depicts a ladder leading into the fort and the artist's last name (Lucido) painted in bright green appears all over the boards.
