Artist Joe C. Rock combines United States history with the history of Nevada in this mural that was commissioned to celebrate the Historic Lincoln Highway. Abraham Lincoln appears on the left side of the mural, leading to the Nevada flag and then U.S. flag, over which the words "LINCOLN HIGHWAY" are painted in different font styles and are flanked by the Nevada flag and the Interstate 40 highway sign. All subjects combined, this mural conveys the relevance of this president and his namesake highway.
