Photograph of a newspaper clipping from the Nevada State Journal that includes a photograph of the Nevada football team aboard a plane en route to Canada to play at a U.S. airbase in Edmonton. Because of wartime drafts from 1943-1946, the university had to get creative in order to get complete football and basketball teams together. In order to do so they merged with the Reno Army Air Corps and were known as the ‘Flying Wolf Pack’ for a short time.

Photographs were scanned at 600 ppi with an Epson Expression 11000 XL or Epson Perfection V600. Film transparencies, slides, and programs were scanned at a variety of resolutions on both Epson scanners. All tasks were performed using Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1.
