These three murals were painted by different artists on the back wall of the Potentialist Workshop, "a multidisciplinary collaborative arts collective in Reno, Nevada...The Potentialist Gallery is a space for innovative and experimental art by artists creating and exploring multiple artistic platforms"(http://www.potentialistworkshop.com/). On the left, artist Asa Kennedy paints a foreground of individual cubes, perhaps representing cracked pavement, comprised of purple, yellow, and green brush strokes. The cubes begin to float towards the sky in the middle of the composition. The foreground parts in the middle, revealing a dark-purple flower with a bright-orange center. Behind the flower is a light-purple plain with dark-purple mountains on the horizon. Above, white and purple clouds swirl around a blue sky and merge with the rising cubes. The middle mural depicts a white dairy cow with black spots raising her head to the bright-blue sky with fluffy white clouds, a bell on a red collar hangs around her neck. A pig with white spots, a piggy-bank slot on its back, and a yellow crown on its head stands in front of the cow's left-front quarter, facing the opposite direction. A rendering of a brick building appears oddly in the middle of the composition (where a window with a brick ledge naturally existed), with a cardinal perched on the right corner. The mural on the right depicts a monochromatic woman with hair comprised of roses coifed into an afro. She brings her right arm under her left, wrapping it around her torso. Painted on the step leading to the roller door to the left of the woman is a red tunnel with concentric black circles and blue, yellow and red circles floating in it, perhaps representing a galaxy with planets in orbit. A blue snake-like figure slithers through the tunnel. What appears to be the teeth of the lower jaw of an animal are portrayed in the lower foreground of the composition, perhaps suggesting that the the tunnel is mouth.
