Over his 3 seasons at Nevada, Gimenez posted a .327 batting average, totaled 144 hits, hit 30 home runs, and drove in 103 runs. Gimenez was an All-WAC second team selection in 2004. He was selected by the Indians in the 19th round of the 2004 MLB June Amateur Draft. After bouncing around 5 teams over his eight seasons in the majors, Gimenez was on the Indians 40 man roster for the 2016 World Series.
