Item Description
A path and small bridge are part of the serenity in the Cherry Blossom Garden. The garden, located to the northwest of the Fleischmann Planetarium, contains Mt. Fuji cherry trees, azaleas, and bamboo. The garden honors Japanese student Akiko Yamashita, who attended the university between 1989-1996, and for Turkish student Hasan Cesi, who attended from 1988-1990. This project was created by Aiko’s mother, Kiyoko.
