This photo shows three cadet members of the WWII 313th College Training Detachment leaning against a car outside of the Virginia St. Gym. From left to right, the men are Alex Mazur, Andy (last name unknown), and Robert W. Anderson. Snow and hills are seen in the background. During WWII, over five hundred United States Army pre-flight cadets came to train and live at the university. They would often be part of classes, many of which became special war courses.
