Item Description
The Thompson Building and the walkway to the Getchell Library are viewed from above. The Thompson Building first opened in 1920 as the Education Building. The building was renamed in 1959 after Reuben C. Thompson, the founder of the Department of Philosophy at the university. Renovations will take place beginning in 2016 to modernize the structure and make it an ADA compliant building.
