Photograph of Nevada baseball player Andy Dominique making an over-the-shoulder catch. Dominique was a third baseman and an utility infielder for the Wolf Pack from 1994 to 1997. Over his four seasons at Nevada, Dominique played in 213 games, posted a .340 batting average, scored 193 runs, drove in 239 runs, and hit 53 doubles and 62 home runs. Dominique was selected to the All-Big West first team in both 1996 and 1997 and was named the Big West MVP in 1997. Following the 1997 season, Dominique was named to the Louisville Slugger, American Baseball Coaches Association, and National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association All-America teams. Dominique was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 26th round of the 1997 MLB June Amateur Draft and was inducted into the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame in in 2008.
