Photograph of Nevada baseball head coach and football assistant coach Willis "Bill" Ireland. Ireland coached the Wolf Pack baseball team in 1966. After leaving Nevada at the end of the 1966 season, Ireland went on to become UNLV's head football coach and then UNLV's Athletic Director. The Fremont Cannon was introduced to the rivalry between UNLV and Nevada by Ireland following the first game between the two schools in 1968. Ireland was inducted into the UNLV Athletics Hall of Fame in 1987 and the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.

Photographs were scanned at 600 ppi with an Epson Expression 11000 XL or Epson Perfection V600. Film transparencies, slides, and programs were scanned at a variety of resolutions on both Epson scanners. All tasks were performed using Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1.
