Jones and High were selected in the second round of the 1979 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns respectively. This game occurred on February 17, 1980 in the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Jones was a center for the Wolf Pack for the 1976 through 1979 seasons. Over his four seasons at Nevada, Jones scored 1,877 points, collected 1,016 rebounds, and blocked 142 shots. He averaged over 18 points and 11 rebounds per game. Jones was an All-WCAC second team selection in 1976, a first team selection in 1977, and a second team selection in 1978. Jones also earned first team all-district honors in 1978. Jones was selected by the Milwaukee Buck in the 2nd round of the 1979 NBA Draft. Jones was inducted into the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame in 1989 and his number, 32, was retired. High was a guard for the Wolf Pack for the 1978 and 1979 seasons. Over his two seasons at Nevada, High totaled 263 assists and 205 steals and averaged over 16 points per game. High was an All-WCAC first team selection in 1978 and an honorable mention in 1979. High also earned all-district honors in 1978.High was inducted into the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame in 1991.
