Caption on image: Harvey's Wagon Wheel Resort Hotel-Casino has come a long way from the old Wagon Wheel Saloon at South Shore, Lake Tahoe. This is the way it looked a few years ago as Mrs. Llewellyn Gross and Beverlee G. Ledbetter, Harvey's wife and daughter, foreground, took part in a western days celebration. Photograph of a parade on the street in front of Harvey's Wagon Wheel at Stateline. This image is part of the Lake Tahoe Area Council photograph collection. The Council was a private, non-political and non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and orderly development of the Lake Tahoe Basin. It sought cooperation between private land owners and governmental agencies to solve basin-wide problems of planning, land use, park and recreation development, pollution control and soil conservation.
