Delta Rho Sorority, 1901

This photograph shows the Delta Rho Sorority members from 1901: (top row left to right) Maud Nash, Goodwin S. Doten, Katherine Sunderland O'Sullivan, Mabel Richardson; (bottom row left to right) Louise Gertrude Ward, Mabel S. Richard, Vera Stuart Davis, Kate Crocker Bender, Ivan Etelko Sessions, Anna Sunderland, Elizabeth Spayd Stubbs, Delle Boyd, Maud Patterson. Delta Rho was established in 1900 and was one of the first four Greek societies on the Nevada State University (UNR) campus. The first thirteen members aspired “toward the elevation of the minds, manners, morals, and merriment of all who come within the circles of their influence,” according to the 1900 Artemisia yearbook.
