Photograph of Nevada swimmers Lise Mackie and May Ooi. Mackie competed in the freestyle, breaststroke, individual medley, and relay events for the Wolf Pack from 1995 to 1998. A three-time Big West Conference Swimmer of the Year, Mackie helped lead Nevada to Big West Conference titles in 1996, 1997, and 1998. Over her final three seasons at Nevada, Mackie won eight different individual events and was on ten winning relay teams at the Big West Championships. She received All-American honors in four individual events and as a part of three relay teams. Mackie represented Australia at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics. She was on the bronze medal winning 800 freestyle relay team in 1996. Mackie was inducted into the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009. Ooi competed in the butterfly, breaststroke, and the individual medley events for the Wolf Pack from 1994 to 1997. Ooi represented Singapore at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
