Unknown [Raccoon Food Truck]

Artist Michael Lucido's electric-box mural depicts a food truck driven and manned by raccoons serving skateboards. The raccoon driving the truck wears sunglasses, his mouth is open with his tongue hanging out, his right arm hangs out the open window of the truck, and is raised up in the air with a "sign of the horns" gesture (the index finger and the little finger are upright and the thumb is clasped against the two middle fingers) on his hand. Another sunglass-wearing raccoon with a big-open smile on his face sits on the serving counter of the truck under a brown awning with his right foot resting on the back of a skateboard. His right hand flashes the "shaka" sign, also known as the "hang loose" sign, while he holds a red beverage in his left hand. Behind this raccoon, inside the truck, hang two rows of four vibrantly-colored skateboards. A fire-extinguisher cabinet with the message "In Case of Emergency Event Break Glass" painted on it hangs behind the raccoon that sits on the counter, but instead of containing a fire extinguisher, it contains an aqua-blue skateboard with pink wheels. The skateboard-food-truck theme of this box possibly relates to its location at City Park Plaza, used in the past as an unofficial skate park, and to the food-truck culture that has developed in the area over the past several years.
