Item Description
This 65 x (roughly) 16 foot mural pinated on the wall of Peerless Cleaners by artist Erik Burke combines Reno history and Nevada mountain ranges. The mural is speckled with small symbols that depict prominent Reno figures, organizations, and locations in the business's and city's history. Some of these symbols are connected, like constellations, by a line that carries throughout the composition. The mountain-range landscape can also be interpreted as draped fabric, connecting the mural to the the business located in that building. The mural is painted in shades of red, orange, yellow, blue and white.
