Book of various Recorder records between 1855-1864 including marriages, land claims, land surveys, power of attorney, etc. Most pages include references where an additional record was previously established by "Kinsey." This refers to Stephen A. Kinsey, an early Recorder of what was considered Carson and Douglas Counties in the period before statehood. After statehood, the Washoe County Recorder transcribed those records that fell within their jurisdiction.
