Item Description
This mural is painted by artist Erik Burke on the 30 x 8 foot wall of a dilapidated building facing Magpie Coffee Roasters on Wells Avenue, thus explaining its subject and title: the Pica Pica (or magpie), one of several birds in the crow family. The pica pica in this mural is depicted with black, white and dark-blue paint. A red-flanked-by-gray line appears sporadically throughout the composition.
