Item Description
The Tram across the university ditch is pictured amongst grasses, trees, and campus buildings with two women standing in the center. The Chemistry Building and Gymnasium (historic) can be seen on the right of the photo and the University Hospital can be seen in the back center. The Tram was built as a wooden walkway across the original Orr Ditch and eventually separated the lake from the grassy knoll known as Manzanita Bowl. It was converted to concrete in 1937.
