Tonopah & Tidewater Railroad. Death Valley Junction, California. At the time this photo was taken, the boxcar was in use as a freight house at Baker. This boxcar remained in Baker even after the line was scrapped in 1942-43. It was owned by California State Senator Charles Brown's family until they donated it in May of 1983 to the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, California where it is currently stored in a car barn.
