Photograph of Washington Redskins player Charles Mann during a game against the Dallas Cowboys. Mann was a defensive lineman for the Wolf Pack for the 1980 through 1982 seasons. He was selected by the Redskins in the third round of the 1983 NFL Draft. Mann was a defensive end for the Redskins from 1983 to 1993 and for the San Francisco 49ers in 1994. Over twelve seasons in the NFL, he totaled 795 tackles, recorded 83 sacks, and forced 17 fumbles. A four time Pro Bowler, Mann helped lead the Redskins to three Super Bowl Championships. He was named to the Washington Redskins Ring of Fame and, in 2002, was named one of the 70 greatest Redskins of all-time. Mann was an All-Big Sky first team selection in 1983. Mann was selected to Nevada’s Team of the Century and was inducted into the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005.
