Students wrestle together at Cane Rush. The caption on the image reads, "Oh! Doctor!!". Cane Rush was an event where sophomores and freshmen were pitted in a game of strength and agility wherein a cane had to pass through the opponent team and reach the end of the Quad. Cane Rush was part of early university hazing often harshly done from upperclassmen to lowerclassmen.
