This photograph shows the Delta Rho Sorority members from 1901: (from left to right) Ivan Sessions, Goodwin S. Doten, Louis Gertrude Ward, Mabel S. Richardson, Anna Sunderland, Verra Stuart Davis, Elizabeth Spayd Stubbs, Maud Patterson, Anna Ella Shier, Delle Boyd, Kate Crocker Bender, Maud Nash, Katherine Sunderland O'Sullivan. Delta Rho was established in 1900 and was one of the first four Greek societies on the Nevada State University (UNR) campus. The first thirteen members aspired “toward the elevation of the minds, manners, morals, and merriment of all who come within the circles of their influence,” according to the 1900 Artemisia yearbook.
