The cover features #1 Kirk Snyder. The Wolf Pack defeated the Broncos 94 to 86 and the Miners 80 to 65. Snyder was a guard for the Wolf Pack for the 2002 through 2004 seasons. Over his three seasons at Nevada, Snyder averaged 16.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. Snyder was the WAC men's basketball Player of the Year and the WAC's top male student-athlete, commemorated by the Joe Kearney Award, in 2004. Snyder was a first team All-WAC selection in 2003 and in 2004 and was the MVP of the 2004 WAC Tournament. Snyder was a first team All-District selection, the District 8 player of the year, and was an All-American honorable mention by the Associated Press in 2004. Snyder was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 16th overall pick in 2004 NBA Draft.
