Flat tray: rigid, close twine, start to 2 cm is three-strand twine (s-twist wefts), at 3 cm is wrapped twine, simple twine (s-twist wefts) from 4-8 cm, at 8 cm is wrapped twine, from 8.5-12.5 cm is simple twine (s-twist wefts) to rim. Rim: simple twined end selvage with the warps truncated after final weft course, design in double element overlay. Design: light and dark narrow concentric bands.

This digital collection represents baskets from the University of Nevada, Reno Department of Anthropology's Huber collection. Lulu K. Huber collected nearly 600 baskets made by Native American weavers from roughly 1840 to 1930, including pieces by weavers from Washoe, Paiute, Shoshone, Bannock and Ute peoples in the Great Basin and by weavers from more than 25 Native American peoples elsewhere in the West.
