Item Description
This skylight in the DeLaMare Library atrium shows off the beautiful architecture of the building. The DeLaMare Science & Engineering Library, created in 1997, is a technology and earth science-focused library located in the Mackay School of Mines Building. The library is named in honor of “Dee” DeLaMare who was part of the first graduating class of the university in 1891 and co-discovered the Carlin Trend, the largest gold deposit in the U.S. In 2012, DeLaMare became one of the first academic libraries to offer 3D printing and scanning.
