Storage bowl: flexible, close twining, simple twining (z-twist wefts) from start to rim. Rim: warp ends are twisted together in pairs, folded at a 180-degree angle and reinserted into adjacent warp rows. Design: gray center extending 2.2 cm from start, brown band 2.7 cm from start; decorating wall, on yellow background, is a concentric zigzag band extending from base of wall to rim, composed of a wide brown line outlined on either side by offset triangles; four brown star shaped designs (3.1 x 6.2 cm) composed of six triangles positioned below rim. Grass overlay.

This digital collection represents baskets from the University of Nevada, Reno Department of Anthropology's Huber collection. Lulu K. Huber collected nearly 600 baskets made by Native American weavers from roughly 1840 to 1930, including pieces by weavers from Washoe, Paiute, Shoshone, Bannock and Ute peoples in the Great Basin and by weavers from more than 25 Native American peoples elsewhere in the West.
