Handwritten on front: Have spent a few days and nights out here this summer - found the water fine! Handwritten on verso: Dear Charlie, I received your card about five weeks ago. Was glad to hear from you. I found Jack's trunk at the Van Nuyo hotel O.K. and have it in my keeping until Jack's return from N.Y. where he now is. Will be very glad to see you if you come down here you will find me at the same address. Best wishes, from Ethel.
